DFAT’S SITE VISIT TO THE PORTS PROJECT
Mr. Ewen McDonald, Head of the Office of the Pacific, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) toured the Nuku’alofa Port Upgrade Project site this morning at the Queen Salote International Wharf (QSIW) accompanied by the Australian High Commissioner, HE Rachael Moore; Assistant Secretary for Pacific Security Branch, Matt Ramage; and Deputy High Commissioner, Erin Gleeson.
The delegation was welcomed by the CEO for Ports Authority Tonga, Mr Alo Maileseni; joined by the project team from the ADB Country Office, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Infrastructure Project Management Unit, McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd, and Royal HaskoningDHV.
